Ingredients:
- 3 fresh tomatoes
- 1 cup of dried tomatoes ( washed and soaked for several minutes in water)
- 1/4 red pepper (optional)
- 1 teaspoon oregano or other herbs or fresh basil
- 1 tsp cold pressed olive oil (optional)
- 1 tsp Tahini ( sesame butter ) (optional)
- 1 pinch of ground green pepper
- A few black pepper corns (to be added at the end and let the sauce soak in the black pepper flavors (do not consume them)
- 1 pinch of turmeric powder
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 small onion
Blend all these ingredients (except the black pepper) until the desired consistency.
This raw tomato sauce is ideal for pizza or zucchini spaghetti.
